摘要(Abstract)：

整理分析了自2000年以来的相关论著,力图对"人类世"名称的来历、"人类世"提出的背景及数年来学术界的争议内容等进行介绍和评论,希望引起国人对这个可能具有划时代意义的地层学"事件"产生更广泛的关注和更深刻的理解和思考。"人类世"(Anthropocene)这个词,由"人类"和"新(时代)"组合而成,由环境领域学者Paul J.Crutzen和Eugene F.Stoermer于2000年创建,用于代表自人类工业革命以来的地质时代。人类世自提出后,数年间即在学术界,包括我国第四纪研究领域的学者间,就其是否成立、如成立其下限如何确定等引发了广泛的讨论。2008年2月Zalasiewicz等21位伦敦地质学会地层委员会的成员联名在"GSAToday"上发表论文,从地层学概念上,尤其针对持反对意见或修改意见者提出的质疑点,就人类世这个地质时代的建立进行了全面论证,并对可作为人类世下限的标识提出了建议,正式把人类世概念推广到地球科学领域。
